Inventors Fellowship 08/01/2008

Robert Merlyn Farwell, inventor of the BioLecTracer, described in the December 2005 edition of Eureka, has started online, “The Inventors Fellowship”, with the intention of promoting and increasing independent inventor clubs and promoting a cross fertilisation of knowledge using the web.

He argues that the lone inventor should not be alone, but needs the support of other inventors in an appropriate environment. He describes going on one’s own to a patent agent as, “Dangerous” and sending for a “Free inventor pack” as, “Disastrous”. Based in Stourbridge, he cites as good examples of what he wants to promote: Birmingham Inventors, www.birmingham-inventors.org.uk) which meets once a month at Aston Science Park; the Black Country Inventors Club, www.bcic.org.uk which meets once a month at 7.00pm on the second Tuesday of each month in The Castle Lounge, Customer Services Suite at the Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley; and Malvern Inventors Club http://www.malvern-inventors.co.uk

Merlyn’s Fellowship service is entirely free. Interested persons can find out more and join at www.tifuk.com
