Bentley moves prototypes to Autodesk Showcase Professional 10/09/2008

manufacturing engineering business software Bentley says it expects to halve the time taken to develop digital prototypes, following its investment in Autodesk Showcase Professional.

Jeff King, Bentley’s digital data manager, says he was looking for a solution that would enable concept designers to create high quality images of design options faster, in order to enable more informed decision-making.

“Being able to create accurate, realistic rendered images in this way gives us the opportunity to review designs and test the market at an earlier stage without physical prototypes,” he says.

“We are constantly looking at ways to make this process more efficient and we believe that Showcase will help us streamline workflow while still offering the best visual experience possible.”
