In a new white paper entitled “Achieving High Performance: A Collaborative Approach for Motion Control Solutions”, Robert Luong, Moog’s Product Marketing Manager discusses the challenges high performance machine designs pose for engineers responsible for motion control.
The White Paper objectively reviews the trends that are making high performance motion control ever more challenging and complex for design engineers. The white paper also analyses the trend amongst engineers from defining motion control in terms of individual products and specific technologies towards a more solutions-based approach, working with a motion control partner at an early stage in a project. These trends are illustrated using real world examples where solutions have resulted in a new level of business benefits that customers are experiencing.
The features that designers should be looking for in a partner are discussed in depth, and proven solutions are described for high performance applications in flight simulation, metal forming and plastic presses, power generation and automotive test systems.
