Ondrives' range of metal bellows couplings are said to have high torsional stiffness capacities and flexibility even when high torques have to be transmitted backlash free.
According to Ondrives, they are able to compensate misalignments between actuation and output shafts caused by production tolerances, with a minimum of reset force.
Miniature bellows couplings with both set screws and collet clamps with torque ranges from 0.1 to 10Nm are available as standard along with another miniature version complete with an expanding clamp. Others in the range include those with inner or outer conical hubs and those for flange mounting from 18-5000Nm torque ranges.
The products consist of one part and designed to be easily mounted and to leave minimal traces on the shafts after demounting the coupling.
