Pennine Industrial has launched the Prem-Detect material, a range of food grade (FDA approval), metal detectable UHMW-Pe Plastics.
 The range is available in either 2 x 1m semi finished sheets or 1m long semi finished rods, although Pennine says that it can quote on custom made components.
Prem-Detect has been designed to withstand the stringent regulations and tight manufacturing controls in the food industry, but can also be used in other applications where a detectable plastic product is required.
