The pneumatics division of Bosch Rexroth has just launched a new interactive website targeted at pneumatics engineers and specifiers. Dean Palmer reports
The pneumatics division of Bosch Rexroth has just launched a new interactive website targeted at pneumatics engineers and specifiers.
The site gives engineers fast and easy access to technical information enabling them to make calculations, configure valve manifolds and cylinders and even download CAD drawings.
Online tools include calculation software for piston rod cylinders, clamps, shock absorbers, rotary actuators and rodless cylinders. The system selects suitable products based on individual customer applications and suggests bore sizes, tube sizes and valve flow rates needed to achieve the required system performance.
Other features of the site include: an interactive product catalogue; fully printable data sheets; product configurator that delivers a unique product number for each valve, manifold or cylinder design; installation and maintenance guides; and a CAD library of downloadable Bosch Rexroth parts for use in DWG, DXF or 3D for Pro/Engineer and STEP.
