The T-Turn Plus turning line has been designed to provide high quality surface finishes when machining exotic alloys.
The new turning line from TaeguTec, optimises a new insert design that is said to reduce cutting friction and minimise built up edges when operating on titanium, inconels and alloy steels.
The new insert designation is a new coating process which, according to TaeguTec, improves chipping resistance and reduces insert breakage to deliver stable and extended tool life in continuous and interrupted cutting operations. Suited to machining materials commonly used in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries, the T-Turn Plus is available in a selection of grades.
