Why is engineering fluid dynamics the right choice for CFD analysis?
10/12/2009 Email to a friend   Comment on this article
Engineering fluid dynamics (EFD) is a new breed of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software that enables mechanical engineers to simulate fluid flow and heat transfer using 3D CAD models directly, with no need for data translations or copies. This white paper from Flomerics – the Mechanical Analysis Division of Mentor Graphics Corporation - looks at EFD, which is based on the same mathematical foundation as traditional CFD software, but with key features that set it apart.
