Flame retardant material

ebalta UK has announced the introduction of a new low pressure RIM material as part of its range of polyurethane materials for rapid prototyping and short run production applications.

Flame retardant materialThe new, two component material MG 321 FR is black in colour and is self extinguishing and approved to the highest UL94 V-0 flammability standard at 3mm thickness. Proof of certification is available from ebalta and can be issued upon request.

According to ebalta, it is easy to process with good flow properties and a pot life of 50 – 60 seconds at 20ºC. It exhibits a high heat resistance and a glass transition temperature, Tg of 133ºC.

MG 321 FR has been applied for applications including interior linings for rail vehicles, medical equipment manufacture, electronic housings, covers for combustion engines and for component parts within the aerospace industry.

MG 321 FR is available immediately from stock in matched mix ratio pack sizes of 5kg / 2.5kg or 20kg / 10kg for next day delivery within the UK market.
