Leuze electronics' range of miniature optical sensors are designed to offer ranges of up to 2m in a small package which is the same height as a 20p coin. The '2 series' range features 33 sensors in three different categories; through beam photoelectric, retro reflective photoelectric and diffuse reflection light scanners.
 Designed for the industrial world, the sensors are optimised for use in confined spaces to provide high performance from their small light spot, which is generated by a pin point LED. They feature fault suppression to prevent interference from neighbouring sensors, an IP67 rated body with metal mounting bushes and PNP/ NPN outputs with light/dark switching.
