Precision engineered components manufacturer Ondrives has added a new series of small bevel gearboxes to its range of gear reducers.
Starting at 0.035Nm torque capacity and going up to 4.032Nm, the three devices available in the range are made from green anodised aluminium housings and have 303 stainless steel shafts, two sealed ball bearings and have an operating temperature of 20 to 80ºC.
Maximum rotational speed for all versions is 2000 and 3000rpm for those boxes with hardened spiral bevels. According to Ondrives, backlash figures vary from 1 to 0.5º for those units with polished hardened steel gears and spiral bevels.
