i2O Water wins another innovation award

Southampton based clean tech firm i2O Water has won the Innovation and Technology category at the 2011 Test Valley Business Awards. The company was awarded a BEEAs award for the same innovation last year.

i2O Water wins another innovation awardJon Daniels, i2O Water's group operations director, and Dean Hansford, i2O Water's regional operations manager, received the award on the company's behalf at the Test Valley Business Awards dinner, held at The Lights in Andover on May 17.

Adam Kingdon, company ceo, said he was very proud that the company's highly skilled team had won another award for its technology and innovation. "i2O Water has designed an innovative advanced pressure management system which is helping to cut leakage on water distribution networks around the world," he said. "We are delighted that the company's achievements have been recognised at the Test Valley Business Awards."

The firm's pressure management system has won several innovation awards in the last 12 months and has been widely praised for the effective way in which it deals with the worldwide water shortage problem. i2O Water, which was founded in 2005, is based in Southampton and employs 40 people. Its technology has been installed across the UK and worldwide. A total of 100 i2O systems have so far been installed.
