The demand for higher accelerating torques and increased torsional rigidity in Planetary Gearheads comes mainly from the machine tool, handling and robotics sectors.
Stober meets this challenge with its ServoFit® range PHQ (backlash < 3 arcmin) and PHQA (backlash < 1 arcmin) for demanding applications.
The core of the design is to distribute the torque over four planet gears offering a 35% increase of output torque and extremely high torsional rigidity.
