Elevation systems use variable speed, acceleration and braking, in order to achieve the desired comfort level. This is achieved with electrical motors controlled by the ac drives that work in switching mode and generate electromagnetic interference.
 This interference must be attenuated with an EMC filter to assure disturbances are below the maximum allowed. Premo includes in its range EMC filters specially designed for lifting equipment and machines with variable speed, such as elevators or escalators.
