Gloucestershire-based Practical Plastics Designs has acquired an Objet Alaris 30 desktop 3D printing system from distributor Objet Printer Solutions. The machine is saving the company money while allowing it to exert greater control over time-sensitive projects.
"We have recently developed a small product range of our own and I felt the time was right to invest in a desktop 3D printer," explains Chris Ward, managing director of PPD."
