Brake system for linear guide

HepcoMotion has developed a simple mechanism to allow linear motion systems to be manually locked at any position along the rail.

Brake system for linear guideThe Bishop-Wisecarver UtiliTrak Carriage Brake System uses twin brake arms that straddle the rail and are engaged and disengaged by turning the handle. UtiliTrak is low-cost, easy to install and needs a minimal amount of maintenance, but provides high reliability in a compact design.
