Stöber has launched a completely new, extremely short, hollow shaft planetary gear unit. Its compact design facilitates a large internal bore of either 28 or 38 mm.
 This dimension allows for reliable feeding of supply lines, including not only power cables, hydraulic pipes and pneumatic hoses, but also ballscrews and shafts. The short design of the motor is based on a new winding technology that generates the highest possible copper fill factor, increasing increases the motor rating by 80% compared to the previous winding technology, making it possible to reduce the length of the motor accordingly.
