The West Group has been associated with the supply of fluid power equipment to various industries for over 40 years. West has a unique portfolio of products, many exclusive to the group, which are complimented by our own ability to both design and manufacture components to meet specific applications.

Value Plastics Introduces New Quick ConnectAs the official distributor of Value Plastics products, The West Group would like to introduce the MQC Series. The MQC is an affordable push-to-connect solution yielding features that end users, engineers, and designers in any industry will welcome.

End users will benefit from the intuitive design, large ergonomic grips, and audible "click" indicating a secure connection. Due to the MQC's haptic characteristics, the fitting is extremely easy to handle, even while wearing gloves. Another notable feature of the MQC Series is its wide selection of colours. End users will appreciate the potential for unique colour-coding, a connection verification technique utilised in a number of applications. In acknowledgement of the medical industry's developing ISO 80369 standard, this luers alternative innovative design also helps to reduce the risk of misconnections.

Designers and engineers will be excited to see the availability of multiple nylon resins (including a USP Class VI material), a variety of barb sizes, and a considerable number of colour choices that will allow for their own custom-made solutions. The MQC Series is available in white, grey, black, green, blue, red, and purple nylon with barb sizes ranging from 1/8 inch (3.2 mm) to 3/16 inch (4.8mm). The male connector includes a Buna-N o-ring to ensure a secure seal, and in terms of sterilization techniques, the fittings are both ethylene oxide (EtO) compatible and gamma radiation stable. Tested for up to 1,500 connection cycles, this solution is a solid bet!
