IDEA 2006 shortlist confirmed 07/09/2006
 
award, idea, innovation, design The shortlist for the 2006 Innovation & Design Excellence Awards has been confirmed.

The awards, organised by Cranfield University’s School of Management, Eureka and New Electronics, recognise the important role played by engineering and electronics design teams.

The seven shortlisted companies are, in alphabetical order: CSR (Cambridge); Fortress Interlocks (Wolverhampton); GSPK Design (Knaresborough); MLE (Salisbury); Rotork (Bath); The Technology Partnership (Cambridge); and Triteq (Hungerford).

They are competing for awards including the Design Collaboration Award, Business-to-Business Product Innovation Award, and the Innovation & Design Excellence of the Year Award, sponsored by Scientific Generics.

The awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel in London on 29 September, is hosted by writer and broadcaster Frances Edmonds.
