LG Motion to showcase complete product range at Engineering Design Show

The company will be highlighting linear and rotary moving coil actuators from SMAC Europe, as well as its own range of high precision linear, rotary and elevation slides. Also on show will be products from LG motions' UniSlide, BiSlide and XSlide linear positioning stage range, as well as a selection of motion components from distribution partners, including Schneeberger, Heidenhain and Empire Magnetics. SMAC moving coil actuators are designed to provide high speed and acceleration performance for applications such as automated assembly, cutting and dispensing systems, parts inspection and scanning. SMAC actuators are fully programmable for force, position and speed, and are available with drives and motion controls for applications from simple indexing through to complex multi-axis contouring. LG Motion's own UK manufactured LG series of precision motion stages includes linear, rotary and elevation designs complete with stepper or servo motors, drives and motion controls. The range is compact and can be easily configured for automated motion from very basic single axis set-ups to complex multi-axis motion sub-systems.
