Master Bond EP30D-10 is a two component, room temperature curing urethane-modified epoxy for high performance bonding, sealing and coating applications. This transparent system is highly flexible and abrasion resistant.

Master Bond EP30-D10 combines the advantageous performance characteristics of epoxy resins such as high strength and good adhesive properties, with those of polyurethanes including compliancy and abrasion resistance. It is a versatile two component urethane-modified epoxy system for high performance bonding, sealing and coating.

EP30D-10 has a forgiving mix ratio of 100 to 5 by weight and a very long working life of 3-5 hours. It is formulated to cure at room temperature or more rapidly at elevated temperatures. Adhesion to a wide variety of substrates, including metals, glass, ceramics, composites, many plastics and rubbers is excellent. EP30D-10 has minimal shrinkage upon cure. It is 100% reactive and does not contain any solvents or diluents. Once cured, it is a first class electrical insulator.

Its most outstanding features are its flexibility, toughness and abrasion resistance. This flexibility, allows it to be used in challenging and demanding applications involving rigorous thermal cycling, thermal shock and impact. EP30D-10 has a very useful service temperature range of -100°F to +250°F. It offers good chemical resistance to water, fuels and oils. Most noteworthy is its impressive optical clarity and non-yellowing properties. EP30D-10 is often used in specialty applications in the aerospace, electronic, optics and OEM industries.
