Fanless panel PCs are scalable with quad core processors

Intel Atom D2550 processor based ARCHMI-7XX Panel PCs are more scalable, announces DSL, with quad core Intel Atom processor and Intel Core i3 processor variants, all completely fanless.

The PCs are constructed from a single piece of die cast aluminium providing a lightweight yet strong HMI, where historically bent steel panels were used. Despite the core material improvement, assembly costs are minimised, says the company.

The systems are suitable for VESA mounting in liquid-free environments or with front IP65 rating simply panel mount to achieve total ingress protection. They are available in display sizes from seven to 21.5inch in 1080P HD resolution.

Available with resistive or projected capacitive multi-touch touchscreens, the former for heavy industrial gloved usage, the latter for bare hands/latex gloves, the screens have a flat front panel for easy cleaning.

Customisation of the panel PCs is available, with customers able to create I/O set-up and exact connector locations via multiple I/O easy install peripheral modules or by customised versions setup by DSL engineers. The bezel colour and logo can be matched to company's branding.
