The Dyneo motors are designed to rotate faster than induction motors, allowing the speed to be adapted to that of the driven machine, eliminating the need for transmission devices. They are also claimed to enable sensorless control mode for most process applications, eliminating potential disturbance due to the motor encoder or feedback connections and reinforcing the reliability of the motor and drive package.
Emerson's Dyneo LSRPM (IP55) and PLSRPM (IP23) permanent magnet motors are suited for use with Emerson variable speed drive ranges, including the Powerdrive F300, Powerdrive MD2 and Unidrive M, that are said to be easy to integrate and quick to configure thanks to software and firmware designed for the Dyneo solution motor.
