EJOT to showcase advanced fastening thread-forming technology and prognosis software at Newcastle exhibition

EJOT UK's Application Engineers will be exhibiting at Manufacturing & Engineering North East (MENE) in July - to showcase the company's advanced fastening systems.
The EJOT Group's engineering fasteners can be found in countless assemblies worldwide, notably automotive, pharmaceutical and domestic appliance manufacturing.

EJOT UK's engineering team will be exhibiting at Manufacturing & Engineering North East (MENE) – the new event aimed at manufacturing and engineering professionals in the North East.

Taking place at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 8th-9th July 2015, MENE will provide a platform for the local and national manufacturers, engineers and their suppliers to meet, learn, solve problems and develop business ideas.

EJOT's UK based Application Engineers will use MENE to showcase the company's product portfolio which includes advanced fastening systems for light weight thin sheet metals through to cast metals, alloys and thermo plastics. EJOT's fastening technology is engineered to eliminate unnecessary assembly components, reduce inspection, simplify inventory management and create a higher strength joint.

In addition to EJOT's fastening solutions, the Group's unique prognosis software will be available to demonstrate. Programs such as DeltaCalc and AltraCalc can provide highly accurate development forecasting – often saving substantial funds allocated to the testing phase of development.

The July event will comprise three key elements covering the full range of design, production and manufacturing:

Keynote conference sessions

Focused technical workshop sessions

An exhibition with access to market-leading suppliers

A number of leading trade bodies and institutions have pledged their support, including the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS), North East LEP, Gateshead & Newcastle Inward Investment and the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED).

EJOT UK is part of the German owned EJOT Holdings. The Group's engineering fasteners can be found in a multitude of assemblies worldwide, notably those in the automotive, pharmaceutical and domestic appliance sectors.

Manufacturing & Engineering North East was created on the back of independent research. Registration for the event is free for all qualifying professionals.
