High torque IP65 rated stepper motors now available from Mclennan

Mclennan Servo Supplies has introduced a new range of IP65 rated high torque stepper motors from its distribution partner AMP.

Aimed at severe environment applications where water spray and dust ingress are prevalent, the HW series covers NEMA sizes 23, 24 and 34 in a range of standard stack lengths for holding torque to 7.5Nm.

The new stepper motors feature front shaft seals, corrosion resistant sealed laminations, and a nickel plated brass cable gland. Optional double shaft versions and IP65 rated rear mounted encoders for position feedback are also available along with an advanced internal coating for added protection in high humidly environments.
