Now take a Nylacast wear pad and the materials technology allows it to perform the same task with corrosion resistance, no need for maintenance, painting or protection. It is self-coloured and 1/7th the weight of the steel pad. Multiply this weight saving by the number of clamps installed and there is a significant reduction in overall machine weight.
