The ULV8 series also features an IP67 environmental rating, which protects the switch from the ingress of dust and also the effects of immersion in water to a depth of 1m. Reliability is also ensured with a claimed mechanical operating life of up to 1million momentary contact cycles or 500,000 latching cycles.
SPDT or DPDT contact arrangements are supported with actuation forces of 2.5 or 3.5N respectively and a switch travel of 3.2mm. All switches are rated at 3A and 250Vac with a contact resistance of 50mO and an insulation resistance of 1000MO at 500Vdc. Operation is specified over a -20 to 55°C temperature range and the switches can accommodate a panel thickness from 1 to 10mm.
