Flexible linear guide rail requires no maintenance

igus' fully assembled linear slide rail and carriage drylin W is being presented as a superior solution to conventional linear rails because it offers low wear, a low coefficient of friction and quiet, maintenance free operation even in the most demanding of environments.

The module's design compensates for angular roation errors around the X-axis and, when fitted with floating bearings, is optimised to compensate for misalignments and parallelism errors between rails, preventing jamming. On conventional linear rails, this can traditionally only be achieved through parallel alignment, which can be time consuming.

The drylin W is a modular linear guide system that has both double and single rail options and can be fitted with a range of components, includes 12 types of profile rails, 30 carriages and a range of system enhancing accessories.
