Engineering Design Show now open for registration

Findlay Media's <a href="http://www.engineeringdesignshow.co.uk">Engineering Design Show</a> is now open for registration.

The Show, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry between 10th and 11th October 2012, is the only one of its kind catering specifically for the needs of design engineers, regardless of the industry in which they work. Exhibition space is now completely sold out and more details about the Show's high level engineering conference and free practical workshops will be announced shortly. Findlay Media's Executive Director, Ed Tranter, said: "When we asked readers of New Electronics and Eureka magazines whether they would attend a design show targeted specifically at their requirements, we got an overwhelming 'yes'. That enthusiastic response has been matched by suppliers to the engineering design market and I'm delighted to announce that exhibition space at the Engineering Design Show is now completely sold out." Since its launch in October last year, the Engineering Design Show has been extremely well received amongst trade bodies and institutions with many, including IMechE, UKEA, ETN, Intellect, IED and Profibus, having pledged their support. Headline sponsors include Heidenhain, Schaeffler, Premier EDA Solutions and Altium. National Instruments, TDK Lambda, Lee Spring, Micro Epsilon, Henkel, igus and Objet Printer Solutions are just some of the leading companies that have signed up to exhibit. Registering for the event not only ensures free entry to the Show, it also allows visitors to select the workshop and conference sessions they would like to attend. "Because attendance at each session will be limited and demand is expected to be high, registering early is highly recommended," commented Tranter. Running throughout the two days of the Show, the conference will focus on a broad range of themes and topics targeting the requirements and realities of design engineering within the UK. In addition, both workshop theatres will offer visitors practical and hands on content in the form of case study presentations by leading technology experts. Details of the conference and workshop sessions will be revealed over the coming weeks. More information, including how to register, can be found at www.engineeringdesignshow.co.uk.
