From 8 to 9 July the Radio Metro Arena played host to more than 90 leading machinery, supply chain and design engineering exhibitors alongside high level conference sessions and practical workshops.
This two day event was originally conceived to specifically address the needs of the region, which excels in industrial innovation. Manufacturing & Engineering will become an annual event and will continue to bring the best of British design engineering and manufacturing talent to the region.
"Without doubt the North East has a rich industrial heritage but Manufacturing & Engineering North East is about now and about driving innovation and growth for the future," commented Ed Tranter, managing director for organiser Mark Allen Exhibitions. "2015 was a success by every measure however in 2016 Manufacturing & Engineering will be even better. 70% of this year's exhibitors have already rebooked, we have a waiting list for further stand space and we have received a number of requests from exciting conference speakers."
The Manufacturing & Engineering North East will return to Radio Metro Arena, Newcastle from 6 to 7 July 2016.
Tranter added: "We are looking forward to bringing the Manufacturing & Engineering buzz back to Newcastle in 2016."
