Five reasons to attend the Engineering Design Show

It's fair to say that design engineers in the UK have not had the best of service when it comes to national events.

With the Engineering Design Show, however, visitors will get the chance to attend an event catering specifically to their professional needs, gaining access to high level conferences, free practical workshops and an exhibition demonstrating and promoting cutting edge technology and innovation from market leading suppliers.

Created by Eureka's parent company Findlay Media, The Engineering Design Show will co-locate with the Electronics Design Show and Engineering Materials Live! to occupy the whole of Hall 2 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry between 2 and 3 October.

Those signed up to address the conference comprise representatives from some of the UK's most illustrious names, including Jaguar Land Rover, Brompton Bicycles, Dyson, Renfrew Group and Cambridge Consultants.

Running parallel to the Engineering Design Show conference programme will be the workshop programme, which is intended to give practical, hands on advice on a range of technical issues.

Two workshop theatres will cover 20 sessions across both days. Speakers confirmed include representatives from some of the biggest names in the engineering sector, including Materialise, Schaeffler, Autodesk, Granta Design, Scott Bader and The Barden Corporation.

Five reasons to attend:

• Review the latest techniques and technology from more than 100 market leading suppliers
