Henkel strengthens distributor partnership with Alstom Rail on-site training

The benefits of TEROSON® and LOCTITE® products have received a ringing endorsement from one of the brand’s distributors, which has seen first-hand the huge benefits they can have in the rail industry after facilitating a workshop for Alstom Rail.

Hayley Group has been a renowned supplier for engineering and maintenance professionals across myriad industries for over 40 years. As an authorised online distributor for TEROSON and LOCTITE, Hayley is responsible for keeping up to date with the best adhesive solutions for any given job.

Through a bespoke, one-day workshop, enabled by Hayley and led by professionals from TEROSON and LOCTITE brand owner Henkel, Alstom Rail now has the latest guidance and best practice on the most efficient adhesive-based solutions.

Delivered to 37 team members, the training programme was so well received that Alstom has made future bookings for further training to be administered by Henkel professionals.

“We can’t thank Henkel enough for an informative and enjoyable experience,” said XXX Rob Stone. “It is vital that people within the rail sector get the best possible information about all potential solutions so they can make an informed decision on the best choice. Alstom is a valued customer of ours and we wanted to make sure they felt best equipped to solve any problems they may encounter.”

To get the best applications for the rail industry, Henkel educated Alstom Rail on the use of TEROSON MS9320SF and LOCTITE Freeze and Release. The products are recommended for floor bonding, as they streamline the process and improve the results, as well as unlocking frozen nuts and bolts if they’ve been in situ for a long time.

“Being able to deliver these sessions is vital to Henkel as we aim to empower our distributors and strive to get the ideal solutions out to customers,” said Henkel Local Business Development Manager, Noel Forte. “Introducing engineering and maintenance professionals to new products or refreshing them on the uses and applications of products ensures that they can do the job to the best of their ability. We’re delighted the training has been so well received and that Alstom Rail has booked in for more sessions with us.”
