Off to a racing start
MEIRG, the Midlands-based engineering organisation, has helped schoolchildren in a competition
MEIRG, the pilot project designed to retrain and retain engineers and engineering companies in the Midlands, has helped schoolchildren get on track for the Formula Schools competition.
Joseph Whitaker School in Rainworth, Nottinghamshire has five teams of four 14-years olds that are designing and building a racing car to enter into the national competition (on 14 June at Silverstone).
A donation of £1,000 from MEIRG has helped towards this.
