Win $20,000 for your idea

If you have an idea that you believe could change the way we work, play or live, you should consider submitting it to the International Create the Future Design Contest

. It’s very simple to enter, just up to 500 words of text and one to three images. The contest is open for entries in six categories: Machinery, Equipment and Component Technology; Consumer Products; Medical; Safety and Security; Transportation; and Sustainable Technologies. The grand prize will be $20,000 and there will also be six Hewlett Packard engineering workstations as first prizes in each of the categories. Entrants may choose to have their entries posted on the contest web site, and the ten most visited entries will each receive $250. All qualified entrants will receive a Create the Future Design Contest T-Shirt. The contest is sponsored by SolidWorks and NASA Tech Briefs, and co-sponsored by Comsol, Hewlett-Packard, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
