Composites UK is delighted to continue a new series of events for the composites industry. Factory visits are half day events designed to give the delegate an introduction into manufacturing in the UK. There will be a short technical presentation followed by a tour of the facility. Delegates will get an excellent appreciation of the scale of the process involved.
Cray Valley is the resin division of the French group Total. The UK site is based at Stallingborough, Lincolnshire, and manufactures coating and composite resins. The visit will allow delegates to see the base resin polymerisation and then the conversion to finished composite resins and gel coats. Ancillary operations such as effluent treatment will also be included.
