Manufacturing & Engineering North East 2016

Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle. Manufacturing and Engineering North East is a show absolutely unique to the region that offers visitors the chance to see, hear and discuss the latest engineering and manufacturing developments.

The North East is the UK's industrial Powerhouse. The region is home to Nissan Motor Co. in Sunderland, Hitachi Rail in County Durham and Siemens Wind Power in Hull, demonstrating the exciting investment and growth taking place in the region.

The show was launched in 2015 to not only champion the UK engineering and manufacturing sector, but also to provide a platform from which to build on the region's successful industrial heritage.

More than 1,300 delegates attended the show in its launch year. Across the two days, new business contacts were established amongst the varied array of exhibitors from machinery, robotics, design and other disciplines. Alongside the exhibition, the fantastic blend of keynote conference speakers and practical workshop sessions instilled and promoted fresh business and design ideas.

Building on the foundations of its successful, inaugural year, the show is establishing itself as an annual event that will continue to bring the best of British design engineering and manufacturing talent to Newcastle.

Nonetheless, we will stick to our founding principles - highlighting global manufacturing successes from the North East and featuring inspiration for engineers of all ages through live machinery demonstrations and management insights.
