Entry deadline extended for the 2014 British Engineering Excellence Awards

Created and organised by Eureka and New Electronics, and now in their sixth year, the British Engineering Excellence Awards recognise the achievements of those companies that have shown design innovation within the last year and highlight the important contribution of the engineers who made these innovations possible.

The 2014 categories are: Consultancy of the Year, Design Engineer of the Year, Design Team of the Year, Green Product of the Year, Materials Application of the Year, New Product of the Year (Electronic), New Product of the Year (Mechanical), Small Company of the Year, Start Up of the Year and Young Design Engineer of the Year. Winners of two extra awards, the BEEAs Grand Prix and Judges' Special Award, will be selected from the entries by the judges. If you believe that your company demonstrates engineering excellence in any of these areas, then you should enter. Entry is free and the entry forms can now be completed online. The deadline for entries has been extended to the 11 July 2014. The judges for the British Engineering Excellence Awards have been drawn from a cross section of electronic and engineering design disciplines. All judges are well qualified and all are champions of innovative engineering design.
