Earlier this year Mclennan was appointed exclusive UK and Ireland sales partner for Phytron GmbH – the specialist and extreme environment stepper motor, drive and motion systems manufacturer. Phytron’s unique technology includes design concept and manufacturing proficiency for motion systems in extreme temperatures and environments utilising construction materials that include titanium and stainless steels. Design criteria typically includes low magnetic emissions, radiation resistance and the application of dry bearing systems. Many Phytron products will be on display and Mclennan sales engineers will be on hand to discuss industrial, vacuum, space and cryogenic applications across manufacture & test, process industries, scientific research and more.
Mclennan will further showcase a range of motion components from its USA distribution partner Applied Motion Products Inc. (AMP) including EtherCAT® communications versions of its innovative StepSERVO™ closed loop stepper technology products. StepSERVO with EtherCAT brings exciting possibilities for machine synchronisation by combining the leading real-time communications network for industrial Ethernet with high performance and economically priced intelligent drives that deliver greater torque, acceleration, and throughput potential than traditional step motor systems.
Mclennan will also display products from many of its other distribution partners including micro motors and miniature gearboxes from Portescap, encoder technologies from Leine & Linde, integrated intelligent motors JVL and more.
