Non-Drip adhesive meets NASA low outgassing specifications

Master Bond EP21ND-LO is a two component, room temperature curing epoxy that meets NASA low outgassing specifications. With outstanding physical properties, easy handling and a non-drip feature, this high performance system is ideal for a variety of bonding, sealing and coating applications.

Master Bond EP21ND-LO is an exceptionally versatile system that passes NASA low outgassing specifications as per ASTM E595. This two component epoxy system cures at room temperature, but to optimize its properties, the best cure schedule for this system is 12-24 hours at room temperature, plus another 2 hours at 150-200°F. Featuring superb physical properties, EP21ND-LO is ideal for bonding, sealing and coating similar and dissimilar substrates including metals, glass, ceramics, wood, rubber and many plastics. It produces high strength, durable bonds that offer tensile strengths of over 7,500 psi and compressive strengths exceeding 10,000 psi at room temperature. These bonds also hold up well to rigorous thermal cycling over the wide temperature range of -60°F to +250°F. This system resists many chemicals including water, oils, fuels, acids, bases and salts. Once cured, EP21ND-LO is an excellent electrical insulator. EP21ND-LO has a convenient one to one mix ratio by weight. This system offers convenient color coding to facilitate mixing. Part A is gray in color and Part B is tan, however, the standard color of the cured material is gray. It has a paste-like viscosity after mixing. This system offers a long working life of 90-120 minutes at room temperature, which can be lengthened by using shallower mixing vessels or mixing smaller size batches. EP21ND-LO can easily be applied with a knife, spatula or trowel without sagging or dripping even on vertical surfaces. It is widely used in the electronic, electrical, computer, metalworking, appliance, chemical, aerospace and OEM industries.
