Shorter length gear pumps from JBJ

JBJ Techniques has launched a new range of reduced length gear pumps, which have been optimised for use in restricted space to support the need to drive multiple pumps from a single motor.

According to the company, the pumps can be supplied as two or three part modular configurations with various options of flange, shaft, inlet and outlet ports. An additional port is also provided for feeding multiple elements. An interal splined joint is said to provide high torsonial strength, whilst optimal clearance between elements allows precise compensation of small misalignments between shafts of different pumps, ensuring transmission of high torque.
