BEEAs Day 4: The Winners

Today's winners of the Start-Up and Young Design Engineer of the Year Awards are Archangel Lightworks and Mohammed Tahir of PRFI.

Day Four of the British Engineering Excellence Awards has seen new winners announced. They are:

Start-Up of the Year: Archangel Lightworks

Young Design Engineer of the Year: Mohammed Tahir of PRFI

Archangel Lightworks is a specialist in the design, manufacture, repair and calibration of load cells and load monitoring equipment. The judges called it: "Boldly ambitious, Archangel is developing a technologically challenging, but critical, form of advanced telecommunications."

Mohammed Tahir has had a short, but stellar career. The judges were impressed with the speed at which this young engineer was able to engage with highly complex mmWave design concepts.
