Book your place at Interplas 2002

A design forum at Interplas 2002, the largest international plastics and rubber exhibition being staged this year, is intended to raise the design engineer’s awareness of the capabilities of polymers.

The five-day show, which opens at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre on 30 September, has taken design as its overall theme, with a series of seminars featuring global players from the polymer industry promoting the virtues of polymeric materials. In addition to seeing for themselves the role polymers can play in the development of new products, visitors will be able to access practical advice to help them with any real-life challenges they may have. Advice on offer will cover every aspect from initial material to end-of-life re-cycling. Admission to the show is free to design engineers who can pre-register their attendance via the re-designed Interplas website – www.interplas-expo.co.uk – that will also make on-line travel and hotel bookings. CP Editor’s note: Nepcon 2002, the UK’s leading electronics manufacturing exhibition, will take place alongside Interplas 2002 from 1-3 October 2002
