Engineering Materials Live opens next week at Duxford

Engineering Materials Live opens its doors to visitors next Thursday (21st September) at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford in Cambridgeshire, and you can still secure your free visitor badge online to attend.

Engineering Materials Live aims to meet the needs of engineering professionals who are tasked with sourcing and specifying plastic mouldings, composites, prototyped parts and advanced materials.

Visitors will get the opportunity to have face-to-face discussions with a wide range of materials suppliers – and it is completely FREE to attend.

What's more, the exhibition is once again co-located with the FAST Exhibition. Running since 2005, the FAST Exhibition provides visitors with direct access to experienced application experts in fastening, bonding and assembly.

The exhibitor portfolio includes leading suppliers showcasing the latest technologies in plastics, metal replacement, materials forming, sustainable materials, advanced composites, lightweighting and rapid prototyping.

You can view the full FAST and Engineering Materials Live exhibitor list online.

A series of technical seminars delivered by fastening and materials experts including ALBIS, ANSYS, EMS-GRIVORY, Henkel, Intertronics and Staytite will also take place at the event.

The Imperial War Museum in Duxford is home to an impressive collection of more than 100 aircraft. As a visitor, you will have the opportunity to experience a tour of this decorated collection and get up close to WW2 classics including the Spitfire, Lancaster and Tiger Moth.
