Two weeks to go until the Engineering Design Show!

In just two week's time, the <a href="http://www.engineeringdesignshow.co.uk">Engineering Design Show</a> will open its doors to some of the UK's biggest names in design and engineering.

The Show, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry between 2nd and 3rd October 2013, will bring together a range of technologies, industries and expertise to create an unmissable event for design engineers, regardless of the industry in which they work.

Running alongside the Show will be a number of insightful conference and workshop sessions offering delegates the opportunity to hear about the latest technologies, techniques and strategies employed by experts at the forefront of their fields.

Those signed up to address the conference comprise representatives from some of the UK's most illustrious names, including Jaguar Land Rover, Brompton Bicycles, Dyson, Renfrew Group and Cambridge Consultants.

Speakers confirmed include:

Andy Richardson, Head of Simulation at Jaguar Land Rover, who will be speaking about developments in virtual design

Dr Caroline J Simcock, Global Compliance and Approvals Manager for Dyson, on Sir James' story and the Dyson design process.

Simon Smith, Associate Director of Products & Systems at Cambridge Consultants, who will deliver a keynote on 'The five principles of product development'

Running parallel to the Engineering Design Show conference programme will be the workshop programme, which is intended to give practical, hands-on advice on a range of technical issues.

Two workshop theatres will cover 20 sessions across both days. Speakers confirmed include representatives from some of the biggest names in the engineering sector, including Materialise, Schaeffler, Autodesk, Granta Design, Scott Bader and The Barden Corporation.
