50kN force test system from Mecmesin
Mecmesin has extended its range of computer controlled force test systems with the launch of a 50kN twin column tester. The MultiTest 50-i has been designed for use in QC laboratories and for applications requiring complex programming and post test data interrogation tools.
The company has increased clearance between the columns from previous models to 420mm and height up to 1330mm (measured without load cell or grips). The additional height is said to allow users to measure tension and compression characteristics of larger, higher strength samples.
According to Mecmesin, users can create test routines to meet their specifications using Windows based Emperor software. The software is also said to enable users to view tests as a 'live' event via a graphical display, to enable observation of sample performance.
