Creo™ is designed to offer the right tool, for the right user at the right time through individual apps, thus enabling everyone in the organisation to participate in the product development process. Users can even choose from any possible design approach – 2D, 3D direct, or 3D parametric – while preserving full data accessibility in any other mode.
Furthermore Creo™ allows users to incorporate data from any CAD system. Even data from legacy systems can be reused, reducing the typically high switching costs which drive technology lock-in.
Using BOM-driven assemblies and a tight integration with PTC's Windchill® PLM software, Creo™ will provide unprecedented power and the scalability needed to create, validate and reuse information for highly configurable products.
