SKF has launched a new shaft sealing solution for automotive applications.

The device is optimised for extreme low temperatures (down to -40°C) and offers strong resistance to aggressive gear lubricants.

SKF developed the sealing compound using a new fluoroelastomer material.

By increasing reliability and durability under adverse conditions, the company says the shaft sealing solution can help oems reduce warranty costs.
