Eddy current sensor with integrated electronics

Micro-Epsilon has presented the eddyNCDT 3001, a compact high performance eddy current sensor with integrated electronics.

The eddyNCDT 3001 features compact M12 sensor design with all conditioning electronics completely integrated into the sensor housing. The sensor has a frequency response of 5kHz (-3dB) and its temperature-compensated electronics provides measurement stability even in fluctuating ambient temperatures, up to 70°C.

The sensor is factory-calibrated with both ferrous and non-ferromagnetic materials, which eliminates the need for onsite calibration of the sensor. The robust construction (IP67), combined with true eddy current measurement principle, enables measurements in harsh industrial environments, including oil, pressure and dirt. Additionally, the eddyNCDT 3001 is saltwater resistant, making it suitable for offshore and marine applications.
