Parker unveils precision hydraulics controllers

The Electronic Controls Division of Parker Hannifin will unveil a number of products from its IQAN portfolio at bauma 2016. Parker’s IQAN products are claimed to enable robust, reliable and simple electronic control of a range of construction, forestry and other heavy mobile equipment operating in harsh environments.

Engineered to have the smallest possible dimensions, the three controllers are said to be easy to install and configure in even the most space constrained applications. With comprehensive and flexible connectivity and an increased number of high density I/Os, coupled with a design optimised to ease straightforward, cost-efficient scalability, engineers will be able to tailor the controller family to both simple, low-cost, and complex high performance system applications.

Another product on display will be a connectivity solution which is claimed to advance the ease and flexibility of data communications for hydraulic control on mobile equipment. This product concept is expected to bring Internet of Things type functionality to this sector of the industrial market for the first time.
