Gabriel-Chemie to unveil latest plastics innovations at Engineering Design Show

Gabriel-Chemie will be highlighting a range of masterbatch innovations for plastics manufacture at the Engineering Design Show, including additives for laser marking, scratch-resistance and heavy-weight compounds.

During the Show, which takes place at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry between 10th and 11th October, the company will be demonstrating its laser additive range and marking a VDI swatch from a mould provided by Gemini Prototype that shows different surface textures. Visitors to Stand D80 will also be able to see different shapes, colours and textures of moulded plastic parts marked with a VDI mould reference number and, on request, their own company name produced from a Trumpf laser machine. Also on show will be the company's new range of heavy-weight compounds and its RAL P1 collection of 100 A6-sized colour plates, which are made of polypropylene. Now less than a month away, the Engineering Design Showis the only event of its kind catering specifically to the needs of today's design engineers, despite the industry in which they work. The Show is now open for registration and will feature a high level engineering conference and workshop programme. Speakers confirmed so far include representatives from the likes of BAE Systems, Mclaren, Siemens PLM, Autodesk and Materialise UK. For more info visit www.engineeringdesignshow.co.uk.
